Day 4 – Thursday Night Pranks

Thursday night is the Seniors’ night for minor mayhem and good clean fun…a chance to prank the staff and chaperons and to create a little artwork…

The aftermath…

Wasn’t Mr. A’s Jeep gray yesterday?

Unfortunately the night’s big prank didn’t lend itself to photos but picture in your mind…a string tied to the Sink’s dorm room door…the other end tied to the radio antenna on their car which has been moved from the spot they parked it in to another spot 300 to 400 yards away.

Now the string will lead them to the car but it takes a round-about, cross-country path around a couple of buildings, weaving around trees, across the tennis courts and across a few streets over a distance of about half a mile to get there.  Little did we know at the time that the car would end up parked next to a sprinkler head which would be running when the Sinks went to find and reclaim their car…guess we got a little unexpected bonus with that one…

Skit Night

Thursday night is traditionally skit night.  Freshmen and rookies are required to participate in a skit and everyone is encouraged to perform.  Some are almost impromptu and some have been well rehearsed.  Hopefully we’ll be able to put up some video clips in the near future…for now a few  dark photos will have to do…

Why did the drum majors cross the road?

So the chicken would follow.

Why did the trumpets cross the road?

Who cares!  We have girls now!

Why did the trombones cross the road?

Because they were told not to.

Why did the pit cross the road?

To find the rest of the band.

Why did the saxophones cross the road?

They were looking for Sam Lasater.

Why did the saxophones cross the road AGAIN?

They were looking for Brad’s saxophone.

Why did the clarinet cross the road?

They are still looking for their dots.

Why did the low brass cross the road?

To get to the Taco Bell.

Why did the tubas cross the road?

To beat the rest of the low brass to the Taco Bell.

Why did the guard cross the road?

So Caitlin would stop changing their dots.

Why did the medical moms cross the road?

They were seeing dots.

Why did the trombones cross the road again?

To get to the slides.

Why did the battery cross the road?

What difference does it make?  They own the road.

Why did the mellophones cross the road?

We have mellophones?

Okay, really, why did the mellophones cross the road?

To see if anyone would notice?

If a flute player plays alone in the woods, and there is no one around to hear them, are they still sharp?

Why did the flute player cross the road?

To get to the woods…

Why did the chaperones cross the road?

To get away from Dr. Beat.

Why did the beastly wrestler cross the road?

He was scared of Jennah Marston.

HOW did the orange guy cross the road?

Mr. Ryden and the Chief threw him.

Why did Trey and Ronnie cross the road?

To get away from falling tree limbs.

Why did Mr. Armstrong cross the road?

I don’t know.  YOU ask him.

Senior Prank of the Day – Wednesday – ‘Here’s Your Sign’

Each of the kids’ dorm rooms has a sign on their door with the names of the kids assigned to each room and their chaperon.  The plan was to switch the signs around to try to get the underclassmen to go to the wrong room.  Probably would have been a better prank to pull on Monday but it still got a few folks…

Sorry…no photo for this one
